The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite bore the brunt of the selling pressure, closing at 26,140.03<\/strong>, down 2.15%<\/strong> for the day. It recorded a weekly loss of 4.48%<\/strong>, marking its worst week since June. The broader S&P 500 also saw declines, closing at 7,659.44<\/strong>, down 1.09%<\/strong> for the day, and shedding 1.95%<\/strong> over the week. Treasury yields saw slight increases, with the 10-Year Treasury Yield (^TNX) standing at 5.098%<\/strong>, rising 0.90 bp<\/strong>, and the 30-Year Treasury Yield (^TYX) at 5.436%<\/strong>, rising 0.70 bp<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

AI and Semiconductor Sell-off<\/strong>
\nUS tech and AI-related stocks experienced a significant sell-off on Friday, culminating in the Nasdaq’s worst week since June.
