Trading Style

A trading style is a set of preferences that determine how often a trader places trades and how long those trades remain open.

Trend Trading

Trend trading involves identifying and following the prevailing direction of an index’s price movement.

Volatility

The size of bars or candlestick bodies and wicks directly indicates how much an instrument’s price fluctuated during a period.

Volume

The number of units traded, which can confirm the strength of a price move or pattern.

Wicks

The wicks (thin lines extending from the body) indicate the highest and lowest prices reached during the period.
